    Changing Lives Across Latin America

    After Hurricane Mitch in 1998, many families were forced to live in Nicaragua’s Limonal dump. Sadly, there are many families still living there today, scavenging through the garbage for food. With NewLife’s help we have increased our Feeding Ministry from one day per week to feeding 300 children four days per week.

    NewLife has helped us build multiple churches and replace plastic and tin shacks with wood homes that provide much needed shelter and security for destitute families, many of whom are single mothers. A church structure costs only $2,000 and seats 150 people. Family Homes are only $600.

  • Ministry Spotlight: Alpha Ministries International

    Our partnership with NewLife began 22 years ago in a nation where merely sharing Christ can mean imprisonment or death. By God’s grace, we planted 6 churches and built a Christian school before persecution forced us to flee to the U.S. Yet, our mission continued.

    From the U.S., we train believers to reach Muslims and Hindus with the love of Jesus, lead church mission trips to one of the most densely populated Hindu and Muslim cities in America, and continue supporting the 6 original churches and school abroad.

    In 2018, we returned to our home country to find even greater need — families trapped in slave labor and children without shoes, yet their hearts remained open to hope. With NewLife’s support, 11 families were freed and 3,000 pairs of shoes and warm clothing were distributed.

    During COVID, NewLife helped us provide food and Bibles to children and adults, including many Muslims. As a result, entire villages began asking for Bible teachers. Today, 50 Children’s Churches meet weekly, reaching over 1,000 children with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. What once seemed impossible to even fathom: BUT GOD!

    Amoon recently took me to see the second-largest Hindu Temple in the world, just 30 miles from his home in New Jersey — right here in America! It was literally overwhelming and a powerful reminder that our nation desperately needs the one true God and the truth of Jesus Christ.

  • Ministry Spotlight: Good News Center, India (GNC)

    Nearly 20 years ago, NewLife partnered with the Good News Center, India to help fund the construction and renovation of several Christian orphanages. Most recently, NewLife provided the primary funding for a new Assembly Hall that now serves 192 children with daily care and education. The facility also helps sustain GNC’s ministry by generating ongoing income through weekend rentals for weddings and community events.

    Reaching 19 Million People with God’s Word

    One of GNC’s greatest challenges was the lack of a Bible in the Sambalpuri language, spoken by 19 million people. With NewLife’s support, GNC launched a translation project, resulting in 2.2 million copies of the Gospel of Matthew and New Testaments printed and distributed in their heart language.

    Work is now underway on a translation of the Old Testament and an audio New Testament for the 7 million who cannot read.
